Senior Accountant      

This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and will be responsible for the effective oversight and management of agency financial reporting, accounting analysis and the integrity of financial statements and GL's. This includes the accurate and timely preparation, detail review, interpretation, understanding, and reporting of monthly financial results. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or related field, 3 years full time relevant experience involving accounting and financial management, possess advanced computer skills including use of Email, word processing, spreadsheet, good communication skills, teamwork, and attitude.  Desirable Requirements: Financial management experience in health care, knowledge of service coding and data transmission procedures and familiarity with HIPAA and JCAHO (or similar accreditation body) standards relevant to business and Information Systems functions.

 

Account Associate

This position is responsible for rent tracking and reconciliation of data for our Standard Supportive Housing Program and reconciliation of medical record payments to ensure accuracy of the financial records. Position will also assist with accounts payable. 1-3 years accounts payable and general accounting relevant experience.  2-year degree in Accounting preferred but not required.   Proficient with MS Word and Excel.  Familiar with real estate management a plus!

Valley Cities Counseling & Consultation has an immediate opening for a full-time Psychiatric Advanced Registered Nurse.  Join our dynamic and growing outpatient program in providing psychiatric assessments and medical services.  Work in a team environment, no evenings or weekends

 

 

 

Mental Health Care Coordinator – Full Time

Join the primary health care team as the mental health coordinator in a jointly-sponsored primary care/mental health services project at the Northgate Public Health Clinic. This program is a collaborative effort between Valley Cities, Public Health, and the University of Washington, that incorporates a number of innovative treatment and support services. The care coordinator provides brief, solution-focused evidence-based clinical interventions such as behavioral activation, problem-solving therapy, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavioral treatment strategies. Minimum Qualifications: Licensed MSW, LMHC, BSN with current RN license or Licensed Psychologist. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Adult Outpatient Services Manager

Manager supervises a team of Masters level and licensed clinical staff. State license with five years experience required.

 

Wraparound Facilitator

Partner with youth and their families in building support teams, facilitating team meetings, and creating strengths-based and needs-driven plans of care.  Requires BA, two years experience in social services and strong meeting facilitation skills. Experience working with emotionally disturbed and behaviorally challenging children and their families preferred.

 

 

Wraparound Parent Partner

Partner with parents, providers and the system in advocating for parents of children with complex behavioral and emotional challenges. Provide peer support to parents with wraparound teams and assist them in building a network of support.  Empower families by assisting in skill-building and instilling hope.  F/T position.  Requires having a child involved with the mental health system and two years experience related to job duties, specifically assisting parents in building community and natural supports. Requires a working knowledge of the children’s system of care and South King County community resources. Exp. with wraparound planning preferred.

 

 

 

Mental Health Peer/consumer to fill an immediate opening for a receptionist/switchboard operator position.
Monday through Friday (9:00 – 5:30 in Auburn).
Duties will include front desk operations include answering multi-line phones for different clients and greeting and directing visitors. Minimum requirements:  High School Diploma or equivalent, someone who has been in treatment for mental health challenges and in recovery for at least one year with 1 year experience answering and routing multi-line phones. Other requirements: punctual, dependable, good communication skills, ability to work independently, personable and professional.  Basic computer ability including email and the internet. Excellent communication skills.

Jail/Hospital Liaison/Daytime Crisis Specialist (2 positions)

This position is responsible for meeting with clients in jail or hospital and/or within 7 days of discharge to meet contractual requirements. This individual will be the VCCC primary contact with Jail and Hospital staff in King County. Also, responsible for handling daytime crises of current VCCC clients face to face and by telephone, as situation requires. MA degree in Behavioral Sciences Field and MHP status required.

 

 

Veterans Outreach Specialist

 We are seeking a professional to provide services to Veterans and their families including National Guard and Reserves. Experience with military and veteran's benefits preferred. Veterans are encouraged to apply.

 

Military/Veterans Services Clinician

Seeking licensed clinician to provide services to Veterans and their families including National Guard and Reserves. Must have experience working with trauma & military deployment issues. Veteran preferred.

 

 

Mental Health Outreach Specialist

Come join a vibrant interdisciplinary team.  Valley cities is seeking a  licensed mental health professional to work with homeless adults being discharged from jails, hospital emergency departments, crisis facilities and in-patient psychiatric and chemical dependency facilities. Collaborate with suburban city human service planners and local homeless service agencies.  Hiring is immediate.

One part time position (20 hours a week), working with older adults who experience severe mental health symptoms.  Providing hope, empowerment, and courage to individuals seeking recovery and wellness.  Must be certified as a Peer Counselor within 6 months of hire.

Facilities Peer Support (Part time 4hrs. a week)

This position is responsible for picking up and delivering all interoffice mail between Valley Cities site facilities.  Ensures that mail is delivered correctly and in a timely manner.  Responsible for making the daily Agency bank deposit.  Ensures problems are addressed promptly.  Also serves as facilities minor repair person. Experience in Facilities and maintenance preferred. Valid driver’s license desirable but not required
